From 2-4 July 2018, ICOLF co-organized an International Conference at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University, in Warsaw, Poland together with the
Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University,
and the University of Warsaw. The Conference, also under the Honorary Patronage of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, was held on the occasion of the 70thAnniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the 25th Anniversary of the Ratification of the European Convention on Human Rights by the Republic of Poland. It considered the topic of “Human Rights: Evaluation and Future Direction.”
Of course, the principle of “malum in se” has implications beyond abortion and adultery. It has implications for contraception, in vitro fertilization, the cloning of human beings, the protection of conscience rights, and more. In all these areas, the objectivity of moral principles will give way to the relativism of subjective preferences if we disregard the Church’s wise teaching of “malum in se.” So the next time you are tempted to justify an action that is intrinsically immoral, remember that God is always good and is, in fact, the highest good, and would never ask you to do evil, no matter how much good comes from it.

Since then atoning to the Sacred Heart of Jesus places the focus rightly on Christ, allowing us to evangelize constantly without growing weary, conforms us to Christ by conforming our heart to His, and protects us against the great sin of spiritual pride,  it deserves to be accounted as the greatest and most sacred form of evangelization.
